Stephen P. Crosby
(Brookline Massachusetts)
Stephen is founder and publisher of CCI/Crosby Publishing, the creator and publisher of various magazines including high-quality family and children's television programming: Access
Learning and Threshold, for Cable in the Classroom; Better Viewing, for cable television operators; Teachers Digest, for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting; and Stargazer
magazine, for Bell Atlantic Video Services.
He previously served as Chief of Staff to Massachusetts Governor Jane M. Swift, and as Secretary of Administration and Finance for Massachusetts Governor Paul Cellucci.
He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Chairman of the Boston History Collaborative/Boston Fifth Century Trustees, Vice Chair of the Poverty Institute in Providence,
Rhode Island, and a Board Member of Cable in the Classroom.
Stephen received a B. A. from Harvard College, and a J. D. from Boston University School of Law. He lives in Brookline Massachusetts
Patrice Franko
(Waterville, ME)
Patrice Franko is currently Grossman Professor of Economics at Colby College where she has taught since 1993. She is the author of The Puzzle of Economic Development in Latin
America, now in its Second Edition with the Third in preparation.
She has served as a Consultant in the Office of International Programs at the National Academy of Sciences, and as an Adjunct Fellow for the Center for Strategic and International
Studies.
She has written extensively on international finance and economic development on Latin America. She is currently involved in research on the Determinants of Social Corporate
Responsibility in Latin America.
Patrice is a member of the Editorial Board for International Studies Perspectives, CHDS electronic journal, and Security Studies in Latin America. Her current courses list includes a
Seminar on Competitiveness in Latin America, and Guatemala's Social Deficit.
She holds a Ph.D. and an MA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, and a BA in Economics and Psychology from Bucknell University.
Matt Keelen
(Arlington Virginia)
Matt is Managing Partner for Valis Associates, a Washington DC lobbying firm. Previously, he was president of Keelen Communications, a Republican fundraising and political
consulting firm.
Matt specializes in hands-on, personalized client services. He was named by Campaigns and Elections magazine as one of the election cycles biggest winners and best client list
winners in 1998, 2000, and 2002. He has raised money for Republican candidates and pro-business causes since 1994. With the help of his efforts these campaigns have been able
to raise over $60 million dollars.
Matt received a B. A. from Loyola College and an M. A. from George Washington University. He lives in Arlington Virginia.
Abner Mason
Executive Director

Abner Mason is the founder and Executive Director of AIDS Responsibility Project.
He is also a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA) where he is also Chairman of the International Committee. He was appointed to the Council by the
Bush Administration in 2002. The Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS provides advice, information and recommendations to the President, and the Secretary of Health and
Human Services regarding programs and policies to promote effective prevention, treatment, research, and care of HIV disease and AIDS in the U.S. and around the world.
As Chairman of the International Committee, Abner's focus has been on the development of policy recommendations to insure effective U.S. leadership in the fight against AIDS in
highly impacted poor countries.
Abner previously spent ten years in Massachusetts State government most recently serving as Chief Policy Advisor to Massachusetts Governors Paul Cellucci and Jane Swift. He
also served as Governor Cellucci's Undersecretary of Transportation and as Deputy General Manager of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, the nation's 7th largest
public transit system.
Abner is a graduate of Harvard College and lives in Los Angeles.
Brent Minor
(Virginia)
Brent is founder and president of Equality Tours, Inc, a tour firm that specializes in gay and lesbian travel and tourism, with a particular focus on small group travel with specific
affinity groups within the gay and lesbian community. 10% of all commissions and fees go to support gay and lesbian or AIDS-related causes.
He previously served as Director of Community Relations and Public Funding for Food & Friends, a Washington DC based non-profit which provides food and other services to
homebound people living with AIDS. He also served as Program Director for the organization.
Brent was a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS where he also served as Chairman of the Care and Treatment Committee. He was appointed to the Council by
President William Clinton, and reappointed by President George Bush. He also serves on the Alexandria Commission on AIDS. He is a member of the Board of Director for the
Federation of Gay Games, and President of Team DC, Inc., the umbrella organization for 14 gay and lesbian sports clubs in the greater Washington, DC area.
Brent received a B. A. from the University of the South and lives in Virginia.
Robert Traynham

Robert is currently Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Communications for the Senate Republican Conference, where he serves Conference Chairman, U.S. Senator Rick
Santorum of Pennsylvania, in his leadership office. In this capacity, Robert is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, and for overseeing
press-related activities on behalf of all republicans in the U.S, Senate. He also served as President of the United States Senate Press Secretaries Association.
Robert previously served as Political Director of Black America's Political Action Committee (BAMPAC), and as Director of Minority Affairs at Thomas Jefferson University.
Robert received a B. A. from Cheyney University where he also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees, and an M. A. from George Mason University where he is an
adjunct-member of the faculty. Robert lives in Washington, DC.
Nicholas Ward
Secretary and General Counsel

Nicholas Ward is an attorney, and concentrates his practice of more than thirty years in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration and fiduciary litigation. In the
latter practice area, Ward has been consulted as an expert regarding a variety of issues arising from attorney, trustee and other fiduciary conduct. His services have been utilized
by counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants as well as by Bar Counsel. He is the former Consultant Register of Wills of the District of Columbia and has served on numerous bar
committees, including as Chair of the Estates, Trusts and Probate Section of the D.C. Bar and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bar Association of the District of
Columbia. He has been a member of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia Advisory Committee on Fiduciary and Probate Rules since 1975. Mr. Ward has represented
and provided general counseling services to a variety of non-profit organizations, including museums and historic associations. Ward is the author/editor of Wills, Trusts and
Estates (titled in earlier editions as Will and Testamentary Trust Forms and cited in Estate of Felica Spinner, 717 A.2d 362 (D.C. 1998)) and serves as State Editor of The Probate
Counsel. Ward is a member of the District of Columbia bar and the bar of the United States Supreme Court. He is a graduate of Columbia University (B.A. 1963) and the
Georgetown University.
Kimberly Williams
(Washington, DC)
Kimberly is currently Senior Manager for Federal Government Relations for GlaxoSmithKline.
Kimberly previously served as Legislative Assistant to Representative Bob Etheridge (D - NC) where she managed a wide range of issues including Medicare. She also served as
Professional Staff for the Committee for Government Reform and Oversight. In that capacity she worked closely with Subcommittees that have jurisdiction over the Office of Drug
Control, Policy and Health and Human Services. She also held staff positions for Representatives Carrie Meek (D - FL) and William Clay (D - MO).
Kimberly serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, where she has been appointed to the Resource Development, and
Public Health and Africa Globalism Subcommittees. She is also a member of the Corporate Advisory Council for the Arthur Ashe Foundation.
Kimberly received a B. A. from Howard University and lives in Washington, DC.
